Mascot Miracles Masquerade Ball
The Mascot Miracles Foundation had their first Masquerade Ball late September in 2016. The mascots wanted everyone who attended to get a glimpse of what it's like to help kids while behind a mask.

Founded in 2013, the Mascot Miracles Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps children who have serious illness through professional, college and corporate mascots; by creating and attending events, and parties; and bring smiles to those children in unthinkable situations.
The Mascot Miracles Foundation has professional, college and corporate mascots to help children who have severe or terminal illnesses.

Pumpkinpalooza
10 / 2016
"The Library’s Viridian Event Center is bringing back one of the Salt Lake County’s favorite family Halloween traditions: Pumpkinpalooza! This free celebration centers around all things pumpkin, and this year is bigger and better than ever!

Participate in the county’s biggest pumpkin carving contest and then come see your illuminated jack-o-lanterns on display in our brand new Pumpkin Alley! All contestants will be invited to a special VIP Awards Ceremony and Grand Opening of Pumpkin Alley the night before Pumpkinpalooza.

Your family can also experience our annual pumpkin pie eating contest, pumpkin arts and crafts, pumpkin smashing and more! Don’t forget, a costume contest too (pumpkin costume not required – but we couldn't throw a Halloween party without a costume contest)! Pumpkinpalooza also offers two dozen activity booths sponsored by businesses right here in our community. There will be more than enough fun for the whole family."
